Henry Alfred Johnson was born 11th December 1924 and died 6th January 1999. He married Yvonne Margaret Hogsflesh on 27th May 1942. He was my Grandfather on my mother's side. In the picture you see him in his army uniform when he was called up at the age of seventeen in 1941. My Grandfather lost a leg in the war fighting in Italy in 1944, (see the Other, War page to view the letters to my grandmother detailing the events).
